Location

Camping's Location

"El Rosal" is located among the beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera, a small village of the west coast of Cantabria, one of the provinces of the North of Spain.

The easiest way to get to the camping is as follows:

  • Take the 263 exit of the A-8 (Spain's Northern highway, E-70).
  • Take the local road C-843 to San Vicente de la Barquera.
  • Go along this road for about 2 kilometres until you get to the junction with the national road N-643, just inside San Vicente de la Barquera.
  • Take this road and cross a long bridge (towards Comillas or Santander) and after crossing this bridge, take the road (CA-364) or "carretera de la playa" that takes you to the beaches of San Vicente de la Barquera.
  • Go along this road for about 700 or 800 metres until you get to the camping's front door.


Getting to the Northen highway

Getting to the Northen highway (A-8) from Burgos:

  • Take the national road N-623 towards Santander until you get to San Martín de Ubierna
  • Take the N-627 in San Martín de Ubierna towards Agilar de Campoo.
  • Once in Agilar de Campoo, take the A-67 highway towards Torrelavega.
  • From Torrelavega, take the A-8 towards Oviedo until you get to San Vicente de la Barquera (see the image bellow).

Getting to the Northen highway (A-8) from Oviedo:

  • Get the A-66 highway towards Gijón.
  • Take the A-64 highway in exit number 5 of the A-66.
  • Go along the A-64 until kilometer 1 and take the A-8 towards Llanes.
  • At kilometre 294 the west segment of the A-8 ends. Go along the N-634 that is the continuation of the A-8.
  • Go along the N-634 to Unquera.
  • Once in Unquera, take the central segment of the A-8 towards Santander until you get to San Vicente de la Barquera (see the image above).

Getting to the northen highway (A-8) from Bilbao:

  • Take the eastern segment of the A-8 towards Santander.
  • Once you get to Santander, get the A-67 highway towards Torrelavega.
  • From Torrelavega, take the A-8 towards Oviedo until you get to San Vicente de la Barquera (see the image above).
